Questions commonly asked by customers.
- How much do I need?
One bag of Roll-On-Render will cover app. 5 sq. meters finished so if you have 20 sq. meters you will need 4 bags.
- What kind of roller do I need?
Roll-on Render Roller packs are available in Bunnings warehouse stores and also in Dahlsens hardware stores
- Can it go over old brick work?
Yes it can, clean the bricks with water and a broom and use roll on super prime. This will help with it adhering to the bricks.
- Can it go over blue board?
Roll-on render will go over blue board, Hebel Blocks, Pre coated Styrene board, Concrete and most masonry wals. Walls must be primed first, we recommend the Roll-On-Render Super Prime.
- Can I go over painted surfaces?
Clean of all pealing or loose paint, apply 2 coats of Roll-On-Render super prime and when it’s dry you can render over it.
- How many finish textures can be done?
Old Georgian Stucco, rough cast, Teraline, and bagging effects.
- How do we colour it, paint it or does it come in colours?
We don’t recommend adding colour to the mix as it would be very difficult to match each batch and would end up looking patchy; we recommend that you paint it with a good quality out door paint.
- How long before we can paint it?
We recommend that you wait the standard 28 days to allow the render to cure.
- How do you clean it when it’s finished?
Not really necessary but you could hose it off.
- How much would it cost per sq. meter?
One bag will cover at least 5 sq. meters. So that’s about $6 a sq. meter.
